I am so happy Wise County has finally made the right decision and decided to join the rest of the world in the year 2008. Give up your attachments to mascots and try to focus on what is right for the kids! If your town is going to "die" without a school, then it was obviously already on life support.

Where did Nelson teach and live? You are to truth as.....well so far you and truth are sorta off course. But it was a good try. It shows how we struggle for the truth.

I think the shoe would be on the other foot if it were kids from PV, Wise & Coeburn that were going to lose their schools. They would then be the ones wanting to save their communities.

They are... the plan is for three new schools, which means closing the high schools at PV Wise & Coeburn too.
And not everyone from those other three towns (pound, st. paul, appy) is against consolidation either.
